A smashing little town in the distant wilds of northern California. This is Sasquatch (Bigfoot) country and as you drive around it is so remote, unpopulated and relatively unvisited that you can believe Bigfoot could live undisturbed out here.

Burney itself is nicely situated between Mount Shasta and Lassen volcanic National Park. Its one of the very few places you can stay in this region without going to the much more busy Redding on the I5.
