Reno calls itself the biggest little city in the world. Before we went, we thought it would be a
little like South Lake Tahoe with some casinos giving some impression of what Las Vegas is like
on a much bigger scale. We were wrong.
Reno is in fact, in one small area, rather more like Las Vegas than we anticipated. There is a run of casino hotels down one side of the main road that have built bridges between them so that you can wander from hotel to hotel without really sensing the transition. Combined together in this way, they do give you a true reflection about what the big resorts are like in Las Vegas.
